Rose Masters: Manzanar to Moab

Rose Masters, a volunteer and former National Park Service Ranger at Manzanar National Historic Site, provides an overview of Manzanar’s history and share stories of some of the men incarcerated at Manzanar Relocation Center who were transferred to the Moab Isolation Center following the so-called ‘Manzanar Riot.’ This program was put on by the Moab Museum in conjunction with the temporary exhibition “A Moab Prison Camp: Japanese American Incarceration in Grand County,” displayed February 19 – June 29, 2024.
