A Wild Spectacle
The Moab Museum invites you to join the iconic nature writer Janisse Ray, November 10-13, 2023 for a long weekend of writing immersion and meaning-making in the spectacular red rocks of the Colorado Plateau. The weekend will focus on creativity and community at historic Red Cliffs Lodge along the Colorado River.
The weekend includes: three nights at Red Cliffs Lodge, breakfast and lunch Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, field trips and forays into beautiful desert locations, writing instruction, and personal writing time, and collegiality. Experience nature and enjoy the grand landscapes around Moab.
The workshop is open to writers at any level, and creating in any genre. Perhaps the desert is calling you to see and experience deeper connections with nature through your writing.
Janisse’s style is generous and intuitive, and deeply inspiring. She truly believes in everyone's potential to create the life they desire. In addition to lavishing writers with valuable information about craft and structure, Janisse believes that something else is required for great writing, and that is magic, a direct line to the invisible forces of spirit.
This opportunity will help you to invest in your stories and invest in wildness and bring you into deeper alignment with your dreams for your life and for the planet.
