Printing Workshops: Join us on Tuesdays through 2022!

On October 10th, Block Prints by Everett Ruess opened to the public. This traveling exhibit explores the creative legacy of desert vagabond Everett Ruess, who disappeared near Escalante, UT in 1934 at age 20 – leaving behind beautiful letters, brilliant block prints, and much legend and lore.

In association with this exhibit, visitors to the Moab Museum are invited to join us for one of five Postcard Printing Workshops to be held this winter. At each of these workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to use historic type on loan from the Times-Independent newspaper to print postcards in the spirt of printmaker and letter-writer extraordinaire Everett Ruess. Save the date and join us for a Postcard Printing Workshop! The workshop is free to members and regular admission applies.
