Moab History 101 (For Guides) was designed to introduce local guides and recreation-industry employees to Moab’s history through the stories, artifacts, and primary resources available at the Moab Museum. Facilitated in collaboration with History Moab founder, Blaine Reniger, this Open Session of Moab History 101 invites local guides, history buffs, and curious community members alike to join us for a night of learning and story sharing. 

The Museum and History Moab have offered this program for the past several years, and each spring and fall, we aim to open up the course to the full guide community and our broader community of locals to engage in this two-hour course. 

This program will include an in-depth guided gallery tour of the Moab Museum, now featuring the current exhibition, U92: Moab’s Uranium Legacy, and an additional presentation on topics of particular interest, using historic photos, oral histories, and items from the Museum collection.
