As 2025 comes to a close, the Moab Museum extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year such a meaningful and successful one. To our members, donors, volunteers, partners, and the wider Moab community: your support, curiosity, and commitment to local history continue to shape everything we do.

This year brought both challenges and milestones, and your belief in the Museum made all the difference. Together, we strengthened the Museum’s financial footing, expanded educational programs, and continued improving the care of the collections entrusted to us. One of our proudest achievements was the launch of U92: Moab’s Uranium Legacy, a two-phase exhibition that sparked important conversations, drew national attention, and demonstrated how a small rural museum can meaningfully engage with complex history.

2025 also marked the first full year of the Museum’s co-leadership model. This collaborative approach has deepened teamwork, encouraged innovation, and ensured that community values remain at the center of our work. We are grateful to everyone who embraced this transition and helped make it a success.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to build on this momentum. Beginning in January, the Museum will participate in the national commemoration of America’s Semiquincentennial with Voices of the Plateau, a year-long exhibition series elevating diverse stories of identity, culture, and home across the Colorado Plateau. Visitors can also look forward to new art exhibitions, traveling shows, and a culminating community exhibition inviting local and regional artists to reflect on migration and belonging.

Behind the scenes, major improvements to collections storage will further strengthen preservation and access for generations to come.
