Join the Moab Museum in celebrating World Meteorological Day 2023 on Thursday, March 23. Special guest programming will feature KKCO 11 News/KJCT News 8 Meteorologist, Christopher Guevara, based in Grand Junction, CO to present at 10am & 2pm: “The Way the Atmosphere Shapes Our Everyday Lives.”

The exhibit offers viewers the opportunity to learn more about this man who reported local weather from the Moab Valley for over three decades before retiring in 1918. This exhibit also features original weather observation equipment that Mr. Crouse would have used during his service here, currently on loan from the NOAA/National Weather Service Office, Grand Junction and the W.S. Jenks & Son, Company in Washington, D.C.
