Dr. Koji Lau-Ozawa: “Archeology of Gila River War Relocation Center”

Koji Lau-Ozawa, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA whose research focuses on the history and archeology of WWII Japanese American incarceration. Dr. Lau-Ozawa’s dissertation research at Stanford focused on the Gila River Incarceration Camp, where he worked in collaboration with the Gila River Indian Community to investigate the history of the Japanese American community incarcerated there during WWII. Join Dr. Lau-Ozawa for a discussion of his research at the Moab Museum on May 9th at 2pm and 6pm.
