April 4 ArtWalk at the Moab Museum: Canyon Country Geology in a Bottle

Participants will learn about regional geology while making sand art souvenirs! Using Moab’s famous red (and yellow and green) rock landscape as inspiration, practice your stratigraphy and layer local sands in a teeny tiny bottle to take home. While you’re here, check out our newest exhibition, 

 and learn how prospectors explored these rocks to find deposits of our “miraculous mineral.” 

The Moab Museum will be open from 5:00 to 7:00. ArtWalk programming to be followed by the not-to-be-missed performance by Clay Jenkinson of J. Robert Oppenheimer at Historic Star Hall, 7:00pm.
