Collections-Inspired Craft Nights

Happy New Year from the Moab Musuem Team!

Join Moab Museum staff for three fun-filled craft nights this winter! Add color and creativity to the winter months with an art project rooted in the Moab Museum’s Collections.

Fiber Night: Thursday, January 18, 5-7pm

Inspired by the weavings on exhibit at the Moab Museum? Revisiting forgotten projects in the winter months? Bring your own fiber project to work on in the company of friends and neighbors! Whether you knit, crochet, weave, embroider, or felt – BYO craft and join us.

Make your own Valentines: Thursday, February 8, 5-7pm

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, join us at the Moab Museum to create your own Valentine’s card. We will have historic Moab Valentines from the archive as artistic inspiration, and craft supplies to share.

Make your own Zines: Friday, March 1, 5-8pm [Art Walk]

Preserving and sharing stories is at the heart of what museums do – and it’s lots of fun for all of us! Join us at the Moab Museum to create a ‘zine’ telling your story. Zines are homemade mini magazines – collaged, drawn, or otherwise crafted to tell a story. We will have several locally published magazines and publications from our archives to serve as inspiration.

Regular admission applies, admission is always free for Members.
